Natural Resources Section's October Brown Bag Lunch Meeting: An Unbiased Look at the Gubernatorial Candidates and the Law of the Land

On Tuesday, October 12, 2010, the Natural Resources Section (NRS) of the Hawaii State Bar Association will hold its monthly brown bag lunch meeting from noon to 1pm at the HSBA conference room (located on the 10th floor of Alakea Corporate Tower, 1100 Alakea Street).

NRS will host guest speaker Michael Levine, who will present, "An Unbiased Look at the Gubernatorial Candidates and the Law of the Land."

Reporter Michael Levine has covered civic issues in Hawaii for nearly three years, first as a staff writer and assistant editor for The Garden Island newspaper on Kauai and most recently as the "Land" reporter-host for the Civil Beat, a Web news service that launched in Honolulu in May. Mike has focused on law, crime, politics, government, transparency, Hawaiian rights, land use and environmental issues. His first job in Hawaii was planting and picking on hydroponic lettuce on Kauai's verdant North Shore.
